Court house hotel
Port Douglas
Major redevelopment of an historic pub built in the traditional Queenslander style and a much loved and photographed local icon on the main street of Port Douglas. Most of the original pub structure was completely rebuilt with a new single storey extension containing a bottle shop, TAB, gaming room and commercial kitchen added. The traditional deep verandahs were extended around the building to provide further shaded outdoor space. The project also included a new build of 22 holiday apartments (currently Mantra on the Inlet), 6 retail tenancies, a restaurant and basement car park wrapping around the rear of the site.
